Advantages: Ease of use, some handy features

I got my current iPod quite a while ago after owning an original iPod Mini for a while but wanting something with more capacity and a few more features. I've always bought into the "i" brand as I've found them easy to use and I like the iTunes software. I've compared my iPod to friends other non-apple alternatives and I've always thought iPods are the best and wondered why anyone would buy anything else.

The 60 gig version has stacks of space and took my entire music collection pretty easily with room for some photos, a couple of films and some TV episodes to boot. It's easy to navigate, easy use and while it is quite chunky, a decent size considering what I've got on it.

The on-the-go playlist function is a good feature which comes in handy if you want to make a quick compilation away from your PC, and the smart playlist and other customisable functions in iTunes are also good.

The only real problem I've had is when iTunes threw a wobbler and deleted every file in the Library, pretty chronic I know but was rescued. You can also pick up the 60 gig Classic reasonably cheap these days which makes it more of an attractive prospect as iPods are always priced at a premium which may put some people off.

Summary: Still the best you can get in my opinion
