Advantages: video, stylish, good size

Disadvantages: pricey, break easily

I have always been an ipod fan but I doubt why now to be honest. The ipod is clearly a revolutionary MP3 player, stylish and functional but it is still very flawed and I have experienced this first hand.

I have been through a fair few ipods, not because I want the latest one, but just because the break all the time! This is for me the major downfall of the ipod, and what makes it now more of a fashion accessory than the best choice to listen to your music on.

Yes, Ok the 60gb is excellent if you have a lot of music, but many people will never even fill this I guess, so only buy this version if you have ALOT of music! This ipod plays video, and (I think) was the first to do so and I must give credit where credit is due, its a great idea,apart from the zapping drain it has on the battery life...but hey.

I now realise that I am more tied to the ipod because of itunes rather than personal satisfaction of the good, as it seems too much hassle to swap over, well done Apple-you are very, very clever.

I hope the newest generation has straightened out all of these flaws, and that they do not break as easily as the older generations.
