Advantages: Holds a fair amount of tracks...mind you, you have to manage to get them downloaded first

Disadvantages: Too big, Hard to install, I've said it all above, I could go on.

The Archos Jukebox 20 is a monster, both to look upon, and to hold. The utterly ironic 'Think Smaller' slogan that scrolls across the packaging is laughable. This MP3 player is simply too big to carry around comfortably. never mind putting this thing in your pocket, you would be as well going out and buying a good old-fashioned CD player - it would take up less room!
Performance-wise, it's not that hot either. Not being terribly PC literate, I had great trouble installing the player to my computer. Moreover, once it was finally installed, the thing wouldn't permit me to download any files onto the actual player, but only onto my new musicmatch file instead. I should press that this was not happening because I'm bad with technology, but because the instructions were, to put it bluntly, quite crap. On top of this, when I finally managed to get some files downloaded (many hours later), I was informed by my computer than in order to continue downloading, or even to transfer CD tracks to the player, I would have to upgrade. So, although annoyed by now, I upgraded away, only to find that the upgrade would now not let me download any files at all, which meant re-installing the whole thing again. Now, maybe this was all my fault, but I don't advise you to take the chance. Instead, buy something smaller and more attractive that is also easier to use. For around 250 quid, this product is a rip-off.
if you're still not convinced as to why you shouldn't buy this product, reasons are:
(1) It takes hours to charge but loses the battery power about three times as fast, meaning it feels like you are constantly charging the thing.
(2) It's one ugly MP3 player
(3) It's too heavy and large to carry around, you'd need a bag, which kind of defies the whole aim of MP3 players, which are supposed to be compact enough to hold in your pocket
(4) Crap instructions
(5) Hard to use unless your a computer genius
<
br>On the whole, this product is shoddy and annoying!

I considered buying this but the look and size of the thing put me off. I'm now glad I didn't buy it, i'm now the proud owner of the Creative 'Zen' 20gb MP3 Jukebox :-)
