Advantages: easy to use
Disadvantages: outdated
This was my first mp3 player and from the minute I had it in my hand, knew it was not going to be my last. Nowadays just use this as a storage device to carry my word documents about.
That really is the best use I can make of it today as most of the technology is now redundant. If you were looking to buy and use this for its actual manufactured purpose then you must seriously not be in to music at all and might as well carry around a CD player.
To start with, it has a mere 256 mega byte capacity, which prevents you from placing more than 50 songs. I am sure everyone has a larger music library than that. The screen is small and backlit in an illuminous light blue. The buttons are easy to use and navigating through songs is simple enough.
The sound quality from the player and headphones are pretty average. They are not the best. The mp3 player is powered by a single AAA battery, which can last for up to 5 hours, but then you will need to invest in more batteries.
Transferring music files onto the mp3 is simple. It is identical to the process of saving files on a USB stick and only takes roughly 10 seconds to save a track. Overall this was a decent mp3 player when they 1st came out but with today's advancements, which have bigger screens, bigger memory, video playback, built in batteries and better sound quality, you are better of buying one of them.
Summary: Don't waste your money
