Advantages: MP3/WMA/WAV formats, MP3_WMA/VOICE/DATA/FM recording, 16 hours playback/rechargable
Disadvantages: none
This is it! Superb!! The Benq Joybee 120 (128MB) in my opinion represents the best value player/usb storage/voice recorder/fm radio device currently on the UK market. This device is just awesome for the money. I picked mine up from Procom on Tottenham Court Road (TCR) off Oxford Street. The unit is finished in aluminium, no cheap plastic mouldings here. Backlit in blue, the LCD displays info/control over volume, playmode (MP3/WMA/WAV, FM Radio, Voice recording), EQ settings etc. Navigation is simple and effective. Audio playback is excellent for such a small, compact device. And I mean small!! The Joybee is tiny!!! I don't want to spend time covering info on specs, but here are some of the nice things (not in any particular order): Charger with led indicator (red/green) A-B section repeat Superb balanced sound Excellent belt-clip holder Enclosed QMusic (ver.2) is simple and effective FM Radio quality (when reception is strong) 16 hours playback (from internal rechargable battery) I purchased the lime green unit (silver is a bit drab). Did not use the enclosed earphones with integrated volume control. Used my failthful pair of Sony MDR-EX70LP. Contrary to some reviews, you can control audio volume from the Joybee's in-built menu independent of the supplied earhpones. Pressing the menu button and selecting option 1-Volume gives access to a volume bar to increase/decrease the audio volume. So no worries there!!! If you are after a superb, compact, all-in-one device, purchase this item. 128MB is restrictive compared to other devices. But if like me, you want something that won't break the bank, can store up to 60 songs, has a class finish, can provide FM radio and voice recording. Would benefit from the USB data storage capability and want a device that is truly minature...well need I say more! :)
