Cowon iAudio U5 2 GB

Rating:
The Cowon U5 s looks and designs can be absolutely deceiving, as it would lead anyone to believe that it can actually view photos and watch videos, sadly it does exactly the opposite of its cover. It has a slim and sleek design only being 10 millimetres thick and quite light which makes it ideal for sporting activities, or use when commuting or travelling. It has a good menu system that is easy to understand and also easy to operate thanks to its responsive buttons that are placed ergonomically, even through the labels could be improved a bit. Overall, this is a rather user friendly device. It also supports a few major audio file formats such as WMA, MP3, OGG, WAV ...

I can honestly say that this player fufils all these criteria and, even several years after it was released, is possibly the only ...

Rating:
I bought the Cowon A2 about a year ago and I must say that I am very impressed with the product. It is quite expensive compared to other portable video players out there and the hard drive is rather small also (20 & 30GB) but these things aside, the Cowon A2 is a great player. The Cowon A2 is comfortable in the hand with the buttons just at the right place if you are right-handed. Although some might say the Cowon A2 is quite heavy, I personally didn t find this. The player is attractive, a mix of white and silver, but is not as simplistic as say the iPod. The words Portable Multimedia Player are written on the front which make the Cowon A2 look more technical. ...
