Cowon iAudio U5 2 GB

Rating:
The Cowon U5 s looks and designs can be absolutely deceiving, as it would lead anyone to believe that it can actually view photos and watch videos, sadly it does exactly the opposite of its cover. It has a slim and sleek design only being 10 millimetres thick and quite light which makes it ideal for sporting activities, or use when commuting or travelling. It has a good menu system that is easy to understand and also easy to operate thanks to its responsive buttons that are placed ergonomically, even through the labels could be improved a bit. Overall, this is a rather user friendly device. It also supports a few major audio file formats such as WMA, MP3, OGG, WAV ...

When using the supplied headphones, it produces satisfactory sound quality with ...

Its rectangular sized display screen is 260K colour, which allows you to watch videos and view pictures. Realistically it is acceptable to view pictures, but its quality is not sufficient enough to watch videos for extended periods of time other than the occasional video clip. Furthermore, it is not compatible with many of the main video file formats. When using the supplied headphones, it provides a slightly above the average quality of sound. Upon using a pair of additional ...
