Ok it is old now and looks it. However this mini mp3/WMA player held a lot of girth for one so small. Not only doesit pack in a wapping 5GB hard drive but it has a radio, a microphone and a 14 hour battery life. Yes ok, so no photo capability or video etc but you could use it as a hard drive to transport files.

What I was really impresses with was the sound quality. With decent headphones it packs a punch and a half and easily beats all but the latest I-Pods on quality. Radio reception too was extremely good. Also the attached remote control, though prone to breaking, was a life saver in order to change songs as the one button joystick could be a bit fiddly here and there.

The worse feature is of course the tiny backlit screen which makes selecting songs a chore if you are not au fait with your player. However, for the price and quality of the music this can be overlooked as it still could be up there as an mp3 player on its own.

Summary: A nifty little mp3 player, the type they dont make like that no more!
