Advantages: Small size, Very long battery life, Light weight
Disadvantages: Backlight noise, Only 512Mb of memory
I bought this MP3 player because I wanted something to put my favourite songs onto, not every single song I owned. The 512MB worth of flash memory is perfect for this since i can use it whilst jogging and I also found I could put at least 200 songs on it, using a variety of MP3 and wma bitrates.
The package that the player comes in provides a lot of useful things: A firm case and arm band - useful for carrying it around whilst I'm jogging and also the case for protection
A USB 2.0 cable - although I only have ordinary USB ports the transfer speeds are still viable so if you leave it, it will take about 30 minutes.
Earphones - Creative's earphones are of good quality (despite being slightly large for my ears!)
A Line-in cable - I've used this to record music off of my mates' CD and MP3 player with good audio quality.
AAA batteries - These have typically lasted me 10-15 hours per battery!
Creative Software - This is very useful for organising your music and transfering it to the player but you can still use Media Player or just drag and drop from Windows Explorer.
The radio of moderate to good quality, however you are not assured to pick up every local station you ca with a standalone radio.
I've found the microphone to be very useful as it will record it straight into MP3 format, no fuss with a moderate audio quality.
The only problem I have found is that on very low level volumes you can hear the buzzing of the backlight when you change songs, however the backlight can be turned off or the noise can be ignored as it will only be heard (if at all) when you're changing songs.
Overall I have been very happy with my purchase, good value for money for such a good MP3 player
