Advantages: extremely easy to use, versatility (music player, flash drive, voice recorder in one stick)
Disadvantages: no built - in battery
MY VERSATILE MUSIC BOX
I used my Creative MuVo TX Fm in listening to my favorite music anywhere I go. I'm a music lover and I listen to music every time... at school during my break time, while on the road, or even on my bed; I can take my music with me with this versatile mp3 player. MuVo Tx fm music player is at the same time my flash drive too. It can play up to 15 hours of continues music with a full charge AAA battery. It can hold 120 tracks mp3 or 240 tracks of wma music file. But normally, I have about less than a hundred songs in this tiny music box because I use this gadget to store my important files also and I leave some space for voice recording just in case I need to record a lecture.
THINGS I LIKE
Design
One really good thing that attracted me to grab this music player is its unique stylish design. I like its neat looking presentation. Compared to other mp3 player, by design, I think Creative MuVo has far classier look. The mp3 player itself is detachable to the battery module. That is, it needed no cable to connect on a computer. Just insert the USB panel, and it's completely plug and play. There's no need for additional software in order to transfer music to this player. (As compared to ipod, wherein you need first to install itunes, etc. to be able to load your music up. File transfer is also fast because it supports USB 2.0.
This player is equipped with high resolution blue backlit LCD, very visible even on the dark. Playback settings can be controlled, it has a built-in equalizer, battery gauge, simple and minimized control buttons.
Versatility
MuVo Tx Fm is not an mp3 player per se, but rather, it is can also be a flash drive, FM radio receiver, and voice recorder. I usually keep my files in this player too (written report, presentation, project, assignments, etc.). When I'm bored with the same music, I can always tune up at my favorite FM station. Also, since I'm a student, this tiny box is also my gadget in recording important lectures, especially when I'm not in the mood listening or when I'm a bit sleepy with the lecturer, good thing I wouldn't miss the lesson because I can record it for later listening.
THINGS I DON'T LIKE
The only one not so good thing about this product is the power source. Not like in ipod or other music player wherein the battery is built-in, here, you need a separate AAA battery for its power. Before, I use Alkaline battery but I realized that I'm already spending huge cost for the batteries, so I bought 2 AAA rechargeable batteries (comes with a charger of course). It's a bit costly but a good investment I think because I will no longer much bother running out my battery.
WHAT'S IN THE PACKAGE?
The package contains of course the 512 MuVo TX Fm player, a Creative earphone, accessories like armband, carrying case, etc., a CD-ROM containing the Creative Media Source Software which can be used in ripping audio CDs to mp3 or wma files, the Quick Start Guide and free AAA battery.
Other module choices
128MB Silver Battery module
256MB White Battery module
512MB Light Blue Battery module (my module)
1GB Red Battery module
IN A NUTSHELL,
Overall, despite of the battery disadvantage, this product is still a very nice featured and one of the best mp3 player ever. The sound output was satisfying. Clear, crisp, deep bass tune is noticeably clear, aside from the fact that this product can also be a flash storage media and a recording device. Creative MuVo TX FM can suit every lifestyle. Is it worth recommending??Definitely YES!
