Advantages: User friendly, compact and lightweight

The Muvo V100's futuristic appearance and sleek design has an elegant touch.
There is a detachable USB stick which is used to transfer files onto the player. This is extremely convenient because it eliminates the need to use an external USB cable when transferring files. Sadly the time saved looking for a cable is lost due to its slow upload time. On average it took about 16.7 secs to transfer 10 megabyte of audio files.
The V100 is powered by one AAA battery, on average it provided about 16 hours of continuous audio playback, which is quite good. The battery stamina would obviously vary between brands, type of batteries and other factors.
The battery compartment is removable from the main device which would give a smaller separate memory stick, when using the supplied headphones, a reasonable and well balanced sound was achieved. Upon using an additional pair of headphone, a slight improvement in sound quality was achieved, which can be further fine tuned using the equalizer. Although, it does not have radio capabilities, it is widely compatible with a range of audio file formats, and is fairly user friendly.
But its menu layout isn't appealing at all, because it sorts all the audio files into 3 libraries, this means it is not possible to skip between individual tracks.
Although it does not have the capability to view photos. Its slightly reflective display screen measuring at 2.4 X 0.8 cm does the task of displaying song information very well, even under intense sunlight.
