Advantages: Good quality and packed with features

Disadvantages: The FM radio isn't great

This player is the same as the V100, except this one has a radio. I have rarely used the radio, and the few times I have tried I have struggled to get a decent reception. I suspect this is because of radio receptions in general rather than this particular model.

In theory you can record directly from the radio to the MP3 but I have never tried it, nor have I used the microphone to record to it, though I suppose that would come in handy if I ever needed a dictaphone! These were for me extras, rather than something I bought the player for. I did try recording through the supplied aux cable and I was disappointed; the sound quality was very good but it was so. flipping. quiet. The sound quality of uploaded MP3s and WMAs is generally very good, though, and it will play DRM protected tracks, which many cheap players do not.

One of the things I love most about this player is the way the USB hub is built in to the player and can be separated as a USB stick to use in your PC. You do get software with this player, a standard database and player that is useful and intuitive, but you can also just drag and drop your music into it, as well as using it as a USB stick.

The styling is neat and the player is dinky, although if you attach the supplied belt-clip it makes the player three times as thick. The only other accessory supplied were in-ear headphones, which provided good sound quality but were too big for my ears!

I love it. I have a digital media player now but this creative is still my workhorse player, it is soooo cheap now - around £20 - but at the time I bought it cost over £100. For the sound quality at that price it is highly recommended.

Summary: You can pick these up cheap now, it's a proper bargain!

What a pity youve gone to the trouble of mentioning several features but haven't fully tested them. Otherwise of the things you have I'll stick to my cheap Woolworths Mp3 player because I dont know from your review whether this is worth it. How much is it for example?

Again if you update your reviews pls click on my name and send me a message.
