Great Mp3 player but a bit flimsy (Creative Zen 4 GB)

Advantages: Stylish, fast and full of storage

I have a Creative Zen 4GB with an 8GB memory card. It was and still is my first mp3 player and I have to say I was extremely fond of it

The foam from the headphones came off within a couple of listens and I've never bothered replacing them, maybe my ears were too small or something? I never used the video feature but for me the most important things regarding an MP3 player are storage and sound. The sound on this is incomparable, it basically sounds as if you are right next to the band in the recording studio, amazing.

The folder section of Albums and Artists is awesome and extremely easy to navigate.

What let this down, although I hear that this is a common problem with all Mp3 players with screens is that I dropped it once and the screen shattered, half of the screen is impossible to make out but I can still negotiate my way around, however it makes it look a bit tin pot and more recently it has started to do strange things such as turning itself on and off.

Now I know you are not supposed to drop it and it was my fault as I was a bit dosy in the early hours of the morning and held the headphones by the ear pieces leading the Mp3 player to unravel and disconnect from the jack. I do however think that they should be made a bit more sturdier and be able to survive a drop. This is a lovely Mp3 player but considering it is easier to buy a new Mp3 player than a screen that means that a clumsy owner is at extreme risk of breaking it quickly!

Summary: Pretty cool but be careful
