Disadvantages: could have more space and features?

I found the creative microphoto to be a welcome change from the more flashy, fashionable music players I'm usually tempted to buy: It's more compact, easy to use, and another huge perk is that you don't have to convert all your music files to a specific file format in order to load them onto the player. As well as this, a major plus for me is the fact that if your battery gets run down or faulty, you can simply buy a new one quickly and cheaply: unlike many mp3 players currently on the market with an internal battery, which requires a costly and lengthly process of sending your music player away and getting it repaired for a ridiculous price. I would recommend the creative 4GB microphoto to first time buyers as it's very simple to use and doesn't require a huge amount of software and constant updates, and gives you good battery life and storage space for a reasonable price.

Summary: worthwhile buy for a first-time MP3.
