Advantages: Design, ease of use, battery life, advanced play options.

Disadvantages: Video playback is poor on the bad screen.

Well, this is a quirky looking thing, a mosaic- style MP3 player, a Zen, too- so is it any good?

The Good:
This is a very small player, with great functionality is within the palm of your hand. The odd mosaic buttons are an oddity at first but I find them to be quite attractive.
The interface is good, offering basics like shuffle, and more advanced features like playing rarely heard songs and browsing by album cover.
A good feature is a JPEG viewer, pictures can also be set as a background along with general visual tweaks- this helps personalise the look of the player. There is an integrated speaker, it may be a bit tinny, but then again, it is on a tiny device.
A good battery life of 32 hours audio playback is a great asset.

The Bad:
The screen is very dull, a measly 128 x 160 pixel LCD screen. This makes videos a real pain to watch- you won't find yourself watching anything at length on this device (or anything at all)

Overall, this product shouts nothing special in features, just a unique design and a nice size player.

Summary: Probably worth opting for the Apple alternative here- the nano.
