Advantages: Unlimited storage capacity

Disadvantages: NONE

The trouble with most MP3 players is that they have limited music storage, 64MB holding only an hours worth of memory, with each upgrade costing around £100. This is why the Iomega HipZip is special, very special indeed.
Instead of having flash memory cards, it uses PocketZip discs (or click!) to store all you loved tunes on. With each 40MB disc only costing around £10, the HipZip is the first MP3 player with the option of carrying around huge amounts of music, literally. Although there are "juke box" style MP3 players out there, but they have built in hard discs, so even then the storage may be massive but it's still limited.
The HipZip is very sexy looking and quite heavy for an MP3 player which gives it a solid feel. There's also a cool LCD display with packs of info to see.
Overall sound quality is excellent. There's lots of bass which usually lacks in other MP3 players. The treble and mid-range are ver clear with little tinniness usually asscociated with MP3 players. It comes with all the software you need for Mac and PC users. At nearly £300 it's not cheap but compare it to how much other MP3 players are and how much it would cost you for the same storage capacity, and your laughing!
All you MP3 junkies out there will need this player now, for a long cool fix.

Good op, but I've a tendency to go for minidiscs over MP3's.
