Advantages: Easy to use, great sound, excellent battery life.

Disadvantages: A little slow transferring files and a little chunky.

This little player has been the best thing I purchased in a long time.

I decided to go for something other than the Ipod mainly due to the price, but it was a nice suprise when I found that this little gadget came packed with a radio, voice recorder and a ton of accessories in with the box.

The most important feature was easy set-up to PC. As a PC user I've found that many older mp3 players are not recognised to well by windows XP, but this baby plugged in fine and the IRiver software is easy to use aswell.

The battery life is also excellent, and I have had days and days of music out of a single AA battery.

As a side note I would recommend that most music is listened to using the 'Rock' equaliser setting as it gives a good bass output when travelling or in noise environments.

All in all a great product.

Summary: Good little player, excellent price, does the job and more.
