Iriver T7 4 GB

Premium Review Not an exceptional player for the price (238 words)
by geek_squad - written on 11/07/09 (Very useful, 24 readings)
Rating:

As a whole, the T7 player is rather compact and lightweight. The USB player has quite a good aesthetic design, with zen styling. The buttons and display is laid out ergonomically, making it easy to reach the buttons. When you first use the player you would naturally amuse it has froze due to the start up delay which is longer than average. However, the feel of actually using the player feels quite tacky to a certain degrees. The buttons are considerable small and also not responsive enough, making it almost impossible to comfortably use the player whilst on the move even though the buttons are placed ergonomically. In particular, the search and skip buttons are the ...

Iriver Lplayer 4 GB

Premium Review The optimum player for photos and songs (318 words)
by geek_squad - written on 11/07/09 (Very useful, 13 readings)
Rating:

Simplicity and ease of use are the first two words that comes to mind when looking at the 4GB Iriver Lplayer. The absent of buttons gives the player a zen appearance, since it uses touch screen as its control method. Based on the display screen, which is a TFT screen measuring 320 x 240 with backlight display. This is acceptable for viewing pictures, however the size of the display screen would make it unsuitable to watch videos for extended periods of time. The are buttons that are used to control the volume, they are rather minute and slightly annoying to use, apart from the other bog standard features are fine. The menu structure has been well constructed, its ...

Iriver Clix2 4 GB

Premium Review Another compact bargain (286 words)
by geek_squad - written on 10/07/09 (Very useful, 30 readings)
Rating:

brings back memories of its predecessor Clix. Being similar in terms of performance, other than it being slightly lighter and slimmer. It has a great software included called the Iriver Plus 3, which can be used to transfer pictures or music. Alternatively, you can also use Window s explorer s drag and drop feature to transfer the files. The menu system is well structured and designed, making it very easy to understand and get used to. The controls for this player are activated by depressing the different sides of the display screen, which is admittedly unorthodox, but it is impressive and extremely effective. The display screen is AMOLED, which can be used to watch ...
