 ... a bit of a pain when, like me you use work and home computers, as it would be a useful carrying medium for mp3’s. However this is only because, I only have a floppy drive and sending via email is not practical with my 9.6kps Internet connection (mobile phone). I have looked for alternative software, but have drawn a blank with this model. The other drawback is memory size- mine is 32mb, although the 64mb model is more common now. I’ve owned my 32mb mpio for over a year now. I am on the whole happy with it, although it does have some drawbacks. It comes with its own custom software “Mpio Desk”, which is possibly some of the worst software I have ever encountered. It functions perfectly well, but only after you learn the ‘correct’ order of doing things (if you don’t press the ‘list’ button first, it will not initialise the memory). Mind you I suppose if I had spent time to read the instruction manual it’s probably perfectly clear….
