The music transfer is through a USB cable, which is quite annoying seen as most MP3 players now plug straight into the USB slot without cables been required, this does help improve the style and size of the player though because it means there is no big, clumsy plug hanging out, the slot for the cable is neatly fitted in the battery compartment.

The Nike-Phillips PSA 256 Max is stylish MP3 player designed for use whilst playing sports. It's design helps to protect from all sorts of knocks and damages that other MP3 players are prone to (although it still picks up the odd cosmetic scratch every now and then). The PSA 256Max also comes with a pair of sports headphones but I find these get very uncomforatble after half an hour and I would certainly reccomend getting another pair of headphones if you intend to use the player for long periods of time, and if you want better quality music, as the sound quality through the supplied headphones isn't great.
