This mp3 player is great!!
There I said it, diving head first into a statement that leads you thinking, prove it!!
I can't prove it, but I can tell you a little why I think it is great!! 1st off, it looks great, going through any mp3 player section, this one stands out, shiny with blue on it!! Well at least I think it looks good!!
I first came across this mp3 player when my house mate came back from visiting his parents with a big grin on his face!! Instead of a boring journey on the train, listening to otehrs talk about the news of the day and what shoes they were going to wear that evening, he listened to his favorite tunes, humming away as the countryside zoomed past. Why I hear you shout, shutup I hear most scream, well he had the Phillips Go Gear HDD1620 6.1 GB.
Pricey at about £160, it is average for what is on the market. With storage of around 1500 songs, who can complain. Now some geeks will say theirs holds more, this does that and that does this. Well, I have news for you, if you can listen to 1500 songs and get bored, you need a kick up the arse, and need to stop changing your styles so quickly.
It is easy to chop and change tracks. Anyone wiith a computer, well most, will have windows media player. The mp3 comes with a cd that updates wondows MP to the latest version and allows you to transfer all files across. Very quickly and painlessly. Make a cup of tea, select the tracks, click a button, finnish you tea and off you go. Its that easy. With many mp3 players you have to install new softwear, but not woth this one!!
With an easy to use interface you can scroll around with speed. However, a few little buttons on the side confuse many, often you find yourself going back to the beginning of a song when trying to go to the music menu. A little tricky at first, but once mastered, its easy to use and very well laid out. Quick scroll, playlists and random play, its all you need. Any extra features on other mp3 players is just showing off. Who uses them really? Be honest!!
Photo quality isnt the best, and you cannot play via a computer either, if you can, tell me how!! But, sound quality is great, fantastic headphones come as standard and a rubber cover also.
I would reccomend this device to anyone who wishes to buy one. It looks better than an Ipod too!!
Summary: All you need at an average price!!
