Best player I've ever had! (513 words)by Devon Day - written on 08/08/08

I was looking for a new mp3 player that wasn't too cheap but also wasn't too expensive. To tell you the truth, this is the most expensive player that I've ever had. I live in the U.S. so here at my local WalMart it was about $74.88. It plays videos that must first be converted to the SMV format. Don't worry as the software for this comes with the player. We ve been in communication with Philips for weeks in order to try to get it to take video files converted using the conversion software supplied with it. The transfer starts off looking ok, but the unit disconnects itself from the USB about 10 seconds before the transfer is due to complete. Then it sits there for a further 5 minutes (still saying 10s left to go) and then says it can t do it because it s disconnected. Even trying to copy the file manually results in the same 10-seconds-to-go disconect followed by failure. It s not just video files, but any file. ...
