The size of the SA2820 makes it one of the most compact and lightweight player, only weighting 27 grams and 42 x 42 x 15 millimetre. However, this extremely small size comes with the compromise of not being able to play videos. Its size also makes it not possible to house a port for memory cards which could have been sued to boost the 2 GB memory that is not a huge amount of space. In terms of battery stamina, it is quite outstanding. On average, providing 44 and a half hours of continuous audio playback. When using the supplied headphones, it provided a reasonable level of sound, however it was distorted because the headphones do not filter out background ... Read the complete review

My friend has one of these and constantly has the piss taken. Despite this it's actually a very good piece of kit. OK might be a bit plasticy and not brilliantly well built, but for the money it's excellent. It will play normal mp3 files and at a high quality too. Up to 192kbps. 2Gb of memory is enough to hold about 500 songs. So not terrific capacity, but still impressive. It is also very portable and fits easily into a pocket - A real plus for me when in a hurry. It will take any normal headphones. It has some very handy extras, like the alarm clock and world clock. To sum up, this is an excellent mp3 player for £35.00. You get a lot of quality for not very much. I ... Read the complete review

I purchased this from my local supermarket, for the (don't leave it there) price of just £12.95. Since then i have used it every day, and have no complaints. The sound quality is good, excellent download speed, is easy to use, has basic and uncomplicated features, and its reliability, and durability, is second to none. It also has the added feature of being rechargable! Add to this, the price, and you are on to a winner here. There are better MP3's out there, but if its value for money your looking for, then look no further! The Phillips GoGear Sa2820 is a honest reliable, does everything it says on the tin, wont let you down Mp3 player, that you can use anytime, ... Read the complete review

I first received this MP3 player as a gift last summer and I still use it almost every day almost a year on. It's a very good MP3 player for what it costs and has the ability to hold 2GBs (approximately 500) of songs. It has the ability to record on it as well, which I have found to be a very useful feature. When you turn the device on, you get a list of 5 options. The first is "Music" so that you can listen to music files which you've uploaded. The second is "Radio" which allows you to search for the station you want and listen to it, providing you are in range of the radio centre's broadcasting. The third is "Recordings" which ...
