Advantages: small

Disadvantages: price, sound quality

This isn’t the best Mp3 player on the market by far, although, it is one of the most expensive.
I bought this product roughly 6 months ago, I know now it has become dated due the gap in the market, but still then it had much room for improvement.
The main feature what disappointed me was the display screen (LCD), with it being a larger square screen it could have been very clear and interesting. Instead it was dark, boring and didn’t display much at all.
As well as the display screen not been up to much, the sound wasn’t too good either. Compared to a mini disk recording the quality was poor. This was the main reason I took mine back to the shop.
The memory chip for the mp3 player was 64meg. This held roughly 12-13 songs (about an alums worth). This was a pain because if you don’t use a computer everyday you have to go out of your way to swap the songs, although it gust downloaded then onto the chip, you didn’t have to wait around and play each song through. I did enquire about purchasing another chip but they retailed around £50, which is blatantly a complete rip off, you may as well go out and but the
CD.
A very good point about the Philips rush MP3 player was the size and weight of the thing. It must have weighed less than the earphones and you could fit it in you Johnny pocket and not know it was there.

I would not advise anyone to purchase this product. I would stick to mini discs and if you want an mp3, just transfer it from your computer to a mini disc. To tell you the though... it’s less hassle anyway.

Hmmm, yeah, £50 is a lot to pay for extra storage - but then I don't think that most people would use it as a 'permanent' storage medium. MP3 players aren't really built with that use in mind.

It's probably better to go for one of those new MP3 CD players though - you can put your MP3's onto a cheap CDRW, put it in the player, and away you go.
