Advantages: Superb Sound Quality

Disadvantages: Slow fast forward, unwieldy menu, no repeat, no neck strap

The player is encased in that annoying plastic shell and takes ages to open. The design and build quality are to the standards you would expect from one of the leading manufacturers of AV equipment. The earbud headphones however are rubbish, they must have been made for a child because they keep falling out and there is no hand or neck strap which is unforgivable when you're paying £30. Getting up and running is straightforward, plug into a USB port and windows will (should) automatically install the drivers. Drag and drop your files and you're ready to go. The sound quality is superb and I would put up with the unwieldy menu (and no repeat!) but for the fact that the fast forward is only three speed which makes this utterly useless for listening to podcasts and audio books.

Nice design, great sound quality but lacks many of features you will find in players costing half as much.
