Advantages: Good sound quality and cheap

Disadvantages: The software can be annoying at first

I'm quite impressed with this, as I did originally want an I-Pod but given the prices of the one I wanted, it just wasn't something I could justify purchasing at the time. I personally wanted an mp3 player that I could put on while at work, and this does the job perfectly. So far I have put 253 songs on there, and I'm quietly confident that I could put three more compilation albums on (on the assumption that they are 40 tracks per album), which I find I'm satisfied with, although if you wanted to add pictures and videos on to it then you would have to take into account that you probably end up with less songs on there given the memory size. The sound quality is good, I can't comment on videos as i tend to use mine purely for music, I can comment on the pics you can upload onto it as my partner has one aswell although hers is the 1 gb version, but the quality seemed quite sharp. It's a shame that it doesn't have digital radio built in but when you can get reception it's half decent. I believe taht this is priced at £40-50 ish which I'm quite happy with as it's done what I've needed it to. I did find the software a tad confusing but, it's just one of those things that once you get the hang of it you'll be well away. I've only ever had one hiccup with and that was very minor, can't quite remember how it happened, i think i pressed a button too quickly and it couldn't quite register which led it to freeze so i had to reset it, and it worked absolutely fine after that, I didn't lose any of my songs so that was a bonus, i think i lost the radio stations but you have to search for them anyway, so I didn't mind. Definatley one to consider if you can't quite afford an I-Pod yet.

Summary: A good buy for something for the time being till you can get a pod!!!!
