Advantages: cheaper
Disadvantages: still not as good
This mp3 player is a great alternative to an ipod.
If you want something a bit cheaper than an ipod and also a bit smaller and something to just use as a little mp3 player you can mess around with, rather than an ipod then this is for you.
This one will only set you back about £30, and it has 2G, whereas ipods are 2gb for £100, so this really is a bargain.
This also looks really good too, its shiny surface looks really cool and sleek, and its combination of blue and silver makes it looks ever so stylish.
Also another great buying point of this, would be its brand name. this mp3 player is actually a Philips, a company which have been around for ages and you know make great high quality electricals.
Unlike many other mp3 players that are like sticks, this one doesn't have one end that comes off then the other end goes into a pc. This one instead has a USB cable that plugs into one end of the mp3 player and then the other end into the pc. No need to worry though because this cable does come with it.
In a lot of ways this is better too, it makes the device a bit smaller as there is no wasted space on the mp3 for a usb port, also you don't have to worry about losing the top of the mp3 usb cover. This is something iv done many times and it makes your mp3 player look a lot worse.
This takes just 1 AAA battery, this is great as you can replace it anytime you want as opposed to having to charge an ipod through a computer.
This battery also lasts a great 10 hours, an that's just off one AAA battery.
There are also other functions too, like a voice recorder.
Altogether this is a great mp3 player if you cant really afford, or just don't want to spend that much money on an ipod or something like that.
Summary: pretty good mp3 player
