The sound quality is fantastic, could definitely be better than an Ipod; and, in my view, less generic. The preset equaliser settings make it easy to adjust to what you re listening to. Philips DA1102 1GB ... small, portable DAB digital radio is a neat product with a good design, but it is not without drawbacks. The Good: The DAB digital radio works a treat. The device comes with all major digital UK channels pre- programmed, so there is no need to perform an initial scan. The receiver is very good, even in my area (which is a poor reception area) it can fully receive all the channels. The included earphones are OK, but not great sound quality- I would recommend using other earphones. The Bad: The MP3 player s interface is very poor. It is difficult to explain, but it feels as though you have to trick the player into completing an action, rather than telling it what to ...
