Advantages: Very simple to use
Disadvantages: Have seen defective devices & not much battery life.
Both me and my best friend purchased the Reddmango Aangora and I feel I was very lucky as mine worked perfectly unlike the one my friend got she had consistant problems with hers playing the same song more then 10 times in a row and turning off for no reason even though the Reddmango Aangora was cheap we did expect better value for our money in her case anyway.
The device itself has a built in usb drive which is very easy to use as you just pull off half the case to reveal the usb stick, plug it into the computer and start to transfer music, compared to others which you had to mess around with cables to transfer music, on the front of the mp3 is a large round silver button which is used to skip tracks, pause and play, to turn on and off just hold down the on/off button.
It does require batterys which seemed to drain pretty fast but it was really easy to change the batterys you just slide the long tube from the back off and change the AA battery.
When you plug in the device it automatically loads the drivers and opens a folder to start to transfer music into I used media player but my friend just transferred directly from her music folders.
The sound quality is amazing with this MP3 device and the headphones that come with it are actually quite good, though my friend swapped hers for a better pair.
The battery doesn't last long but I only used it to and from work so a single battery would last me about a week or so but I was very happy with it.
The price was acceptable at £12.99 from argos at the time, but I do know other people who weren't happy with they're purchase as there were too many problems, but I enjoy simple technology i would recommend it for ages 5 - 10 nowadays as its very simple to use not a good purchase for easily frustrated adults who refuse to take something back to the shops as they are convinced they can fix it themselves (personal reference)
Summary: A good and simple MP3
