Advantages: small, light, good quality
Disadvantages: none
How many of you have downloaded mp3?s from the internet- free of charge of course? Would you love to take your favourite tunes with you wherever you go? Well, you may be illegally downloading them in the first place, but a very legal product is the jazpiper mp3 player! Background Information (just a bit about mp3?s for those who aren?t familiar with this term)An MP3 (MPEG 1, Audio Layer 3) file is an audio file made by using audio data compression technology. The MP3 audio format allows you to enjoy high quality music playback from files that are a fraction of the size of a normal CD audio file. You can create MP3 files from your favorite CDs, or by downloading songs through the internet and storing them in your PC or jazPiper MP3 player. MP3 files typically end with the extension .mp3 and may also be used with a variety of other applications such as language programs and internet broadcasts. The JazPiper The jazPiper is a next-generation digital audio player, which does not require cassette tapes or CDs for operation. MP3 files are stored in flash memory or in the SmartMedia card (memory extension card) of the player. In addition to playing your favorite song titles, the jazPiper also comes with a voice recording feature which can be used for such purposes as recording interviews, lectures or other audio clips. Furthermore, the jazPiper has an integrated telephone book which allows you to store up to 250 telephone numbers, enabling you to have access to important phone numbers wherever you are. In contrast to portable CD players, the jazPiper will not skip during heavy exercise or while being jostled. Even after repeated playbacks, there is no degradation of the sound quality. The title, artiste and playing time of each MP3 track is displayed in the liquid crystal display (LCD) of the jazPiper for your convenience. I bought the jazpiper for my boyfriend at Christmas, and was amazed to see just how small and light it is. The b
est comparison for size would be to that of a pack of playing cards. On average, the 64mbs can hold 16 tracks (about a CDs worth). It fits perfectly into your jean pocket, so you can listen to your favourite tunes wherever you go. It also comes with a good instruction booklet which is easy to follow. The cost of the ?jazPiper-FM 64Mb MP3 Player / Voice Recorder with FM Radio 3D Sound? is currently £175.08 (inc vat) from scan computers (www.scan.co.uk), and is also available from many other websites (see www.jazpiper.nl). Although quite expensive, it really is worth the buy. There have been no problems with our mp3 player so far, and if you happen to have a couple of hundered spare cash (very unlikely I must add), then I recommend a look into the jazpiper ? my boyfriend says ?It?s the best present he?s ever had!!!
