YP-P2, Did it dominate, the iPod touch? No... (Samsung YP-P2JAB 4 GB)

The Samsung YP-P2, was originally seen as a rival to the iPod touch; this defiantly isn't the case. Samsung in their YP-P2 have been very original and creative in some aspects but, in others just 'hopped-on' the general modern interface bandwagon.

The main advantages of the YP-P2 are it's large hard disk capacity, ability to play very high quality video's effortlessly with an outstanding frame rate and it's fantastic battery life even after playing movies or listening to the radio or even playing some of the built-in games - which I think is another great feature.

The disadvantages of the YP-P2 are it's lack of file formats supported, the only two music file formats it will support are MP3 and WMA's this means that if you shop on iTunes then even the DRM free music that can be converted into an ACC file format can't be played on the YP-P2. Also any movie that hasn't been specifically been made for the YP-P2 has to be converted into the format .svi which is exactly the same as an .avi file but the .svi has been specifically made for Samsung.

Summary: I would give it 4/5 stars and would recomend it to anyone if they don't use itunes for music.
