Even the name of the player, P3 Pulse, leads us to think about a cutting edge and futuristic device. Thankfully, it does live up to its name and is a rather good all rounder.

Since it was launched purely to complete with the iPod Touch, it does have a resemblance to it. Although the player also uses a touch screen meaning at 3 inches, it scrolls horizontally by brushing of yours. In order to access the main features of the player, you simply select the widgets that are placed on the screen. It also allows you to rearrange them in any order that you want, making it even simpler to find your favourite functions. Although the use of widgets is quite effective overall, the touchscreen display itself is not as accurate as the ones found on the Ipods.

In addition to the standard features, the player also has a wide range of cool extra functions, such as the ability to record voice and built in speakers which does quite a good job at playing music when not using the headphones. It even allows you to answer calls, yes, by simply paring up the device with any Bluetooth enabled phone, it instantly makes it possible to take your calls via the player's built in speaker and microphone.

Summary: Quite a nice and futuristic package, especially for heavy mobile phone users.
