great little mp3 player (Samsung YP-Z5AB 4 GB)

This Samsung mp3 player is now a old model but is still modern looking and provides the same mp3 capabilities as most modern players. This model has obviously been created in comparison to the ipod nano of the same period .. the only areas it beats its apple counterpart in is battery life which can last up to 12 hours i have found.

The looks of the mp3 player as sleek and refined .. the materials are not the greates quality and some buttons feel a bit wobbly but it still feels a solid piece of kit in all. The 1.8" display is nice and large and is good enough to view photos and album covers which can be stored on the 4gb memory. Sound quality is good but as usual the manufacture headphones are not great and need to be upgraded to make the most of your music. Mp3 files can just be stored on your computer then dragged and dropped on the player like any windows files which cuts out needing knowledge of i tunes and other music librarys in advance.

The devices software is easy to navigate and the naviagation pad under the screen is perfectly set-up. The only downside is the fact it does not come with a mains charger but these can be purchased quite cheaply seperatly.

I bought mine for around £120 about three years ago and have sinced replace it with a Ipod but only due to its limited 4gb size ... this was a great little mp3 and i have passed it on to a very happy friend.
