Advantages: sounds great, nice screen resolution, long battery life
Disadvantages: pixelated pictures
The samsung yepp, is a very sturdy and well built mp3 player, the menu system is easy to use, even though many people seem to find the controls difficult to use. I have found that transfering songs using media player or Realplayer to be extremely easy.
I have no complaints about the quality of the headphones, they are much better than the ones supplied with other mp3 players, and there is no need to buy better ones.
I find that the samsung yepp sounds a lot better than ipod nanos, and the nano now sounds weak in comparaison.
Battery life is important to me, as I frequently go traveling and as power outlets are often not available it is imperative I have an mp3 player with a long battery life. This mp3 player has a very long battery life! After 10 hours of use I find that it is still on full bar battery.
The screen is a lot better than that of a nano's, although the pictures are very pixelated when shrunk, its MP3 player not a photo album so I can deal with it.
9/10 - Highly Recommened: Cheap mp3 player, fantastic screen, long battery life and stylish.
Summary: great price and stylish - BUY

- 10/12/06 Yepp, sounds good to me (sorry, couldn't resist). Currently have an iPod mini but, for me, it's a pile of poo; only less than a year old and the battery life is shocking and has bouts of switching itself of at quite random moments!
So, am looking for a new mp3 player and this is one I will consider. |
