Disadvantages: relatively short battery life.

I have been using Sansa MP3's for the last 5 or so years, and i have been using this particular model for the last 2. The main advantage of this particular model is its small, compact size. Friends are often surprised at how small it is, while still having a good quality and readable screen, unlike the similar sized Ipod Nano. Its dark colour and inconspicuous size means it is safer to use when out and about, compared to the larger and more valueable Ipod (and, therefore, the owner is less likely to be mugged).

The 2 GB memory is roughly equal to over 500 songs (I currently have 522 on mine). It also features an FM radio and voice recorder, although i have rarely, if ever, used these. One of the more useful features is the GoList, which allows you to add songs to a playlist, so that you can choose and listen to all your favourite songs quickly, rather then searching through your albums. It should be noted that, if you are using Windows Media Player (like i do), then you will be required to download it requires the latest version of the Player in order to upload songs onto your MP3.

Overall, an affordable, robust and useful MP3, and suitable for anyone who, like me, is adverse to the Ipod's stranglehold on the market.
