Compact little wonder. (Sandisk Sansa Clip 2 GB)
Member Name: Caroon1
Advantages: Size and ease of use. Disadvantages: May be a little fiddly for older folk. This is such a useful little thing, mine has also got an FM radio, but I can only pick up R2,3 and 4 in my location. However, signal is clear and although I use different ear-phones to ones supplied, I am very pleased with sound quality. The controls are easy to use, (arthritis sufferers may struggle with tiny size though. The menu-driven system has its usual ratcheting along to select your chosen songs etc. The rechargeable internal battery lasts for at least 8 hours, although you can only recharge with a USB to PC connection, I find this easy enough. Presumably once the battery no longer charges, the player becomes useless - but I may go for bigger capacity. The accompanying manual is on disk and software is fairly easy to use, if a little over-complicated. However, despite my great age I picked it up fairly quickly. Useful little machine. Summary: Good starter MP3/radio for outdoors and in.
