Sandisc 8GB clip (Sandisk Sansa Clip 8 GB)

Advantages: Easy to operate Disadvantages: Poor radio reception Bought this little player in silver when my previous one started having issues. It's absolutely perfect to take running or on a similar sport as it clips firmly onto your pocket, clothing or whatever you like. The headphones it comes with aren't great but that's easily and cheaply remedied but buying some more or, as I did, using my previous headphones with this player. I must have well over 100 tracks on there and have hardly filled any of it. It's small and light enough to be totally portable but not so small that it's difficult to operate. The main reason I chose this one over the closest competitor which is probably apple, was the price. You're not paying for a brand name, you're paying for a good quality, easy to operate little player. (I paid £44.94 for SanDisc 8GB clip whereas the nearest Apple equivalent is £30.50 for 1GB and £56.59 for a 4GB one) I for one don't like touch screens and touch buttons as I can't distinguish when I'm running (and find it difficult to look down) where I need to push to forward a track... this isn't a problem with this player at all. On the negative side I haven't found the radio all that great, but then, that's not why I bought it. On the plus side, I love the little equiliser display & the fact that you adjust the balance. I'd say the sound quality is really good but this is only my 3rd player so I've not had much to compare it against. Certainly works fine even when I'm running with it. Summary: Very convenient & easy to use player
