Advantages: fantastic alternative to the ipod

Disadvantages: the use of ipod speakers

aaaaaaaaaaaaaa dam. yeah that kinda describes my mates experience with this mp3 player. he loved it, said it was better than an ipod and everything- fantastic battery life, no problems, and a great sound quality. until one day, he brought a set of ipod speakers for his girlfriend, and decided it'd be quite fun to try to use them for his own little sandisk. it didn't work. the speakers started to steam, and then there was a tiny puff of smoke as the sandisk saw the last of its days. he is still impressed with the time he had with it, however since he brought an ipod classic for a little more than he would've payed for the larger 8GB version, and so got 10 times more space for only a little more money. since he hasn't looked back and has enjoyed an enjoyable year using his new ipod, and hasn't looked back. so here's the moral of the story. if you want a very decent mp3 player, by all means go for this, but if you have the extra cash and want an amazing uber cool mp3 player, nothing beats an ipod. yet.

Summary: impressively close to the ipod, but no cigar... just a bit of smoke
