Open any book, flip through any magazine and switch on any channel, we find programmes on "the battle of the bulge". One major obstacle to be overcome is, 'lack of perseverance' to achieve one's goal. The cause for this is again 'boredom'.
What am I talking about? How is this connected to SanDisk Sansa E260? Oh, but there is a connection, a major one.
By the end of the year 2006, I received a sleek gift from my brother in the US for my birthday, a digital MP3 player with flash memory and a 4 GB capacity(not that it matters because it gas a Micro SD expansion slot.
Armed with my new, sturdy companion and an enthusiastic mindset, I set about my new exercise regimen and as I switched on my SanDisk Sansa E260 and started moving my lazy body. It worked! In 2008, I am several pounds lighter, rich in my knowledge of music, fit in mind too by listening to, many self-improvement talks by speakers.
*Depending on my mood in the evening, I use the simple-to-use navigating controls and the clear large 1.8 " TFT screen and backlit rotary dial enables me to organize my favourite songs by Artists, Albums, Playlists and Genre.
*The Lithium Ion Rechargeable battery goes on for upto 20 hours and is easily recharged through USB cable.
*The Photo Viewer, On-board FM Radio, Voice Recorder and Built-in Microphone are added incentives.
*The screen is small and video pictures have to be loaded with the included Sansa software which is a little tough but then, thankfully, I don't really need to view pictures to lose weight.
*Unlike the IPod, it certainly cannot provide wireless FM transmitters for my car or be an extension to my Home Theatre but, affordable it is, and whenever the green-eyed monster peeps up as I look at my friend flaunting her IPod, I console myself.
