Disadvantages: Comparison to Ipod

I swapped from the equivalent Ipod to the Sansa Fuze.

Best thing i've ever done in terms of portable music playing!

The design is obviously Ipod inspired, so comparison will allways begin there. This is unfair. The Fuze has a much better sound output and can be turned up even louder and generally is much easier to use and less of the Hive mentality oh so ubiquitous with the Ipod. Having said such an outrageous thing, the drawback is seperate speakers and the massive range of accessories available for the Ipod family. A Usb lead usually will solve that.

The gist of this is that the 8gb Fuze is a clear rival for Ipod, in many respects it is far superior and unsurprisingly cheaper than an Ipod - when combined with the micro SD feature it is far superior.

The battery whilst not lasting 24 hours for me has lasted on average 18/19 hours of continuous use at what could be considered high volume. The Ipod always cut out long before.
