Advantages: good looking, affordable, fairly easy to use, great sound

Disadvantages: can be a little confusing

I was very excited upon purchasing the A1000 as it was my first portable music player and being such a music lover i felt it was a much needed boost into the 21'st century. Upon reaching home i was eager to start buying albums instantly. Unfortuantly i first had to charge it up for around 2 hours and install certain software. The software itself was a little confusing at first but I soon got to grips with it and had the connect player fully installed and registered within 15 minutes. Then came the wait and the checking it every ten minutes to see if it was ready yet.
Then finnaly it was fully charged up and ready for action. I already had alot of my favourite tunes uploaded on my PC and again the process of transfering them was slightly confusing at first, simply because i had never done it before but it was very nicely explained and within another 10-15 minutes i had uploaded all my favourite tunes.

I listened through each song and found the quality of sound to be great aswell as the user interface being very simple and easy to understand. But this was in my living room and the next day i decided to give it a proper tryout on the 1 1/2 hour journey to work and let me tell you it was amazing, without having the volume uncomfortably loud i was able to hear clearly even in packed train stations. The headphones are comfortable and the user friendly interface meant i could play through my favourite album on repeat the entire journey without having to keep fiddling with it.

All in all a very impressive player which for it's relatively cheap price is very impressive and suits someone maybe not very technically aware. I would reccomend this product to anyone.
