The Sony NW-E3 mp3 player has got to be one of the most practical mp3 players around at the moment.It takes one AAA battery which seems to last between 4.5 and 7.5 hours depending on the volume being played and functions being used eg. bass boost and graphic equalizer.

If your careful you can squeeze around 18 tracks onto the player if you have downloaded small files with 128 bps songs.The player comes with an extension cable for ease of use which i have found very useful when i have been moving around at work with it.
some of the main advantage of the player compared to minidisc and cd players is not only it's size but the fact that songs do not jump when you move about.It's 64mb memory can be upgraded fairly easily with memory stick upgrades available at most electrical stores.I believe it outclasses some of its newer rivals as although they can have up to 20gb! of storage they still only have a maximum playback of only 10 hours roughly so there isn't really much point unless you want to put a wider range of songs on the player.The player produces a great sound quality as always with Sony products.

The player easily downloads from the computer using a usb cable which is supplied with the software necessary to store the music onto the device.
The colour the player comes in looks fairly stylish and is part of the reason which made up my mind to make the purchase.All in all a good buy and great value for money.
