clunky, and not the best. Two minor criticisms, but don t let it put you off getting one. I ve had loads of MP3 players, and this is the best yet. I really fancy the newest model thats just came out with bluetooth, but the good thing about it coming out is that it means theyve dropped the price of this little pup. charge gives three hours playback, and you get about 24 hours use from the full battery. There are two major downsides; firstly you have to use and install Sony s proprietary software, soundstage, and convert everything to the proprietary format before you can upload it. This is so time consuming and laborious that I have only bothered changing the music on it once or twice. The player will convert any other format, but it all has to be processed by soundstage first. On the plus side the compression means you can fit more songs on. It is a 512mb player and holds around 150 songs. The other problem is the sound-limiting software.
