I was looking for a small, compact MP3 player to use primarily when I am exercising. Sony as well known for producing well made quality electronics products and after doing a bit of research online I decided to give this MP3 player a go. I have been using this daily now for the past 6 weeks and I am very impressed with the sound quality and ease of use.
The MP3 player is black in colour and has a 4GB storage capacity. This is a more than big enough for what I use it for as you can fit of 2,500 songs on to the device. There is a small LCD display, which displays basic information about the track, title and artist. What I have been most impressed with is the battery life. The is a Lithium-ion recharable battery offers up to 30 hours of playback time. I think I have only charged the device once in the 6 weeks that I have had it. The MP3 player is small in size and fits nicely into my pocket. It's lightweight too, which is great when I am running with it.
It's nice and easy to operate. It's fairly obvious which button is play/pause and the which buttons are used to skip forward and back through tracks. All the standard, universal symbols are used, I'm sure you know the ones I mean.
One thing that I did find annoying about this product, as it was a little inconvenient was that it would seem that you need to import your tracks via the software that comes with the MP3 player. The processes of transferring songs on to the device is fairly straight forward. You can plug the device straight into a USB port on your laptop or PC and once you have the software installed you can transfer the files quickly and easily.
The MP3 player cost me £24.99 and for the price I have been very impressed at the sound quality. It is a fairly cheap MP3 player in my opinion so wasn't expecting the sound quality or battery life to be as good as it has been. I would happily recomend this to family and friends.
