Advantages: Amazing sound quality and video quality. Easy to use and easy to put files onto.

Disadvantages: No radio and you have to charge it via USB and a running computer/laptop. Not that much of a problem

I bought the Sony Walkman approximately 10 months ago. I am very impressed with the product in all of the catagories.
The sound quality is amazing compared with anything else i've heard from an mp3/mp4 player. The video quality and the sound quality of the video match the same standard also.
In the 10 months which i've had this product, it has been very reliable not breaking down on me and I havn't had any problems whatsoever with it.
The interface is amazingly easy to use. There are some unneccisary parts to it, for example it has a Time machine shuffle, which I don't see the point too and it seems to come up with a range of 6 different songs. The main menu has 9 options as you can see from the picture. Shuffle, Search, Clock, Pictures, Music, Video, Settings, Playlists, Now playing (Directs you to the current song/video/picture you are playing).
The keypad consists of the arrow keys used to navigate around songs and menus, The options button which shows you details when playing a song/video and also turns the Walkman off when you hold it down. Lastly the Back button, which goes back from any menu.
The Walkman has the bare minimum of features on it, but it has everything you need on an mp3/mp4 player. It has Mp3/Mp4, Pictures, Playlists, Shuffle and a Clock with date. Dissapointingly it doesn't have a radio, which would have been a nice touch.
To transfer files onto the Walkman, it's as simple as connecting it to the computer via USB and drag and drop onto the player. Couldn't be simpler!
The Walkman is chargeable only when left plugged into a running computer or laptop via USB which is the other main problem I find with it.
The battery life is impressive, I've been listening to it in bed and accidentally left it playing over night, waking up to find it still playing with a fragment of the battery gone.

Overall I think that it is a very good player and it has an amazing quality of audio and video. The two slight problems with it are quite easily outweighed by the posatives. Once you look past the slight drawbacks you will find an amazing player!

Summary: Would definatly reccomend this to anyone!
