Advantages: Easy To Use and Pocket size

Disadvantages: Shame there is no bluetooth

At first Glance the Walkman looks amazing, the large screen with the capacity to play videos and the large amount of the memory give you huge flexibility to do any. And allows you to put several movies and easily have enough space for a couple of hundred songs. Who could want any more? And it cost around 40 pounds less than IPod with more features. What a good deal.

Design- From First glace the Walkman look good, the large screen helps to make good viewing for movie. And although the screen is not huge it adducate for watching movies on the train or just when you're feeling bored by the pool on holiday. The cool scroll wheel allows the user to go through the various opinions that player has. The size of the player is also gives huge benefit to the user as it pocket size nature makes it perfect for people on the go and this is also helped with the key pad lock which allows you to stick it in your pocket without worrying that it change song while in your pocket. One of the favourite things about this player is the headphone, they provide a great quality of sound and are best I've ever had, there also unbelievable hard wearing and I've got them soaking wet once and their still working as I had bought them yesterday.

Features -The walkman has a huge number of features which means that there is huge selection of setting for every situation. The built in radio is one of the best feature and its ability to find a huge number a station(most of them being clear and easily listenable for the user) which is helped with the auto scan which saves hours of tedious work looking thought the each individual channel. Another one of my favourite features is the fact is that you are able to see the album cover which just makes it just a cool way to show off your friend and is the one of the little things that changes it from a good Mp3 player to a great Mp3 player. The Mp3 also has built in Photo library which personal I think is not really worth having but many other people I know say they us regularly to show off to their friends. Although the Mp3 player has a mass of feature I think that Sony could have improved it with the inclusion of a Bluetooth connection which would have made it easy to add movie, picture, and music. But you can't really complain as that due to the price and mass other feature that the player has I think that it's still great value for money.

Performance-The MP3 player although having a small screen (which is fairly regular for mp3 player so you can't complain) it is clear and easy to see and as you ability to change the brightness of screen which helps hugely for the viewing of movie especial for watching movie when it is very dark or very bright. But one the best thing that Sony has done is the easy to use menu which makes it easy to slip from one song to another. And this is hugely help with the scroll wheel which makes it easy to flick though you music, picture and videos. The only small problem that I do have sometimes is it that with certain sound the volume can sometimes not be high enough to for fill you need but this can easily be solve by using iTunes to adjust the sound level. The Battery Life on the player is HUGE and lasts up to 33 hours playback but this does depend on what mode it is in.

Overall--Overall this is a great Mp3 player for someone on the move and it small and compact and this makes it easy to put in your pocket and handheld. At only 80 pound it much cheaper than the IPod and personally coming from someone who has owned both I fell that the walkman has better feature and also has the ability to play movie. And the only thing that the IPod is superior on is compatibility to many other pieces of electronics. Overall I think this is great Mp3 player and I would happily recommend this other.
