I must confess to being a fiend for Sony products, but the quality you get for the price is hard to find anywhere else. I have had this Sony MP3 player for over 2 years now and have had no problems at all. 8GB is quite small compared to what's available now but I generally listen to the same music most of the time so it's sufficient for my needs. The mp3 player also allows for video playback, although the size of the screen means you probably won't use it for purpose.

My mp3 player came with bluetooth wireless headphones. These were a slightly awkward design and didn't fit my head very comfortably, and I found that the reception is not great at times if you have the mp3 player in an inside pocket, but otherwise they are fantastic. You can change track, adjust volume and pause music using buttons on the side of the headphones, and you can also connect them to a bluetooth mobile phone for hands free conversation (there is a mic on the headphones too).

The design looks slightly dated now but it is well built and won't break easily. I have also never had a problem with loss of data and it is easy to transfer files by simply dragging and dropping using your computer.

If you are looking for a purpose built mp3 player, I would definitely recommend this product.
