it, that it was small and of a practical shape (long and thin rather than flat), and that it was made by a trusted brand, Sony . Since I have been away, I have managed to upload more songs on to it, it´s very easy to use. I have found the player to be hard wearing and durable as well. I have dropped it several times (not recommended, of course!) and it still works fine. My one criticism is that the volume does not go particularly loud, so if you´re on a bus and the traffic outside is loud, you will need it turned up to the max.
