A great device which promises years of great use.

As a overview the Sony walkman NWZ offers slick design combined with impressive features. two features stand out to me the most which defines the sony from the group: software options and battery life. The sony avoids itunes and creative software by either use of user friendly windows media player or drag and drop, the most favoured technique. The battery life is un-matched in its field. the actual battery life stands at 23-24 hours music and 5-6 video at loud volumes. these are both close to the given maximums and realisticly what a average listener will experience. The addition of three new sytems, Clear Stereo, Clear Bass and DSEE digital sound enhancement creates amazing quality sound which certainaly rivals that of apple's software. The reason for sony's slick design derives from clear and intutive menus which are easily changeable. the screen is matched by a attrative exterior and offers the small dimensions demanded for the ipod nano.

Small unit with not soo good small screen

This thing is soo small and cheap Battery life is excellent (my friend keeps telling me) Ipod batteries can be ok at first but they arnt consistent and the battery gets worse and worse the longer you have it. I personally prefer my nano (2nd gen) ipod when takin price and value into consideration, i just dont get why you would buy any 2 gb player from ipod. This is easier to add music to. sound quality GR8

i Prefer to take this out for my jogs and sporting activities over my nano because it is more durable and i know it will last longer or take more beating.

The best things about this over any ipod is that transferring music is a dodle as you dont have to convert anything you just have to simply drag and drop.

All in all, a good buy, nothing else in the price range would beat this
