Advantages: easy to use massive cheap memory

Disadvantages: maybe too small and thin for some

After careful consideration between this and the offerings from apple and sansa (both my young girls have the clip which is great for them) i found myself drawn to this because of the price for the 16gb £87.99 on play.com when i bought it about two months ago,but am now not sure am having trouble in certain areas!!

Yeah sure its light and thin,try buying a decent case for it,ended up with a silicone skin off of e-bay because all others made it big and bulky!!

And yes it is gorgeous looking but really cannot imagine watching any sort of video on it,even though the screen is very high quality it is also very small,but i suppose for the odd thing it would be great.

I have the red version which is a lovely looking beast.

Unfortunately i cannot get on with the in ear headphones and have trouble getting them in and taking them out even after changing the size of the buds (3 different sizes provided) but i am still experimenting at the moment.

Sound quality is superb and i really cannot fault it,i am no expert in sound but this is by far the best MP3 player that i heard in ten years!!

Has enough menus and options to keep you going for a long time,with sound enhancments preset and also custom settings available.

I listen to a massive amount of different music from Metallica to Country and Western and it all sounds sweet through this little machine!!

Summary: Ipods be afraid be very afraid!!!
